He started his business with a startup capital of ninety thousand naira (N90,000).
The successes recorded so far in his business are the ability to grow and expand his business and the ability to purchase two plots of land in 2022 where he has used one plot to start a plantain plantation and apiary. He has also drilled a borehole at the permanent site to start a waterleaf and vegetable farm and Piggery farm.
The low points recorded in his business are losing an Apiary of more than 20 hives of bee colonies and losing cucumber stands of 3000 stands after manuring.
Ekikere agrees that he has thought about giving up in the face of challenges before but his passion and love for what he does keep him going.
Ekikere does not work alone, he has people he has trained in the business working for him, and his business is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
