Ossai Nwaka is a farmer who has been in his line of business for more than ten years. He cultivates cassava, yam, melon, pepper, beans, coco-yam, okra, mushroom, groundnut, potatoes, rice, and different vegetables.

Ossai asserts that as a farmer, he feeds thousands of people and makes money from selling cash crops. He affirms that the farming business is lucrative and one can make money from it. A farming business needs a substantial amount to start so Ossai started his business with a startup capital of 2.5 million naira.

The high point recorded in his business so far is his ability to sell cassava and other cash crops to the state government and the low point of the business is the increase in the price of chemicals, and the destruction of his crops by birds. Ossai has not thought about giving up in the face of challenges.

Ossai does not work alone, he employs people to work with him. Policymakers and investors can assist him with work machines, chemicals, crops fertilizer, lands, etc, to expand his business.

He appreciates the organizers of this program for the opportunity to share his business story. He promises to use his farming business to feed the nation.
