Meet Black Evans Udo, the CEO of Evaco Hair Cut, located opposite the Apostolic Church, Nung Obio Enang, Idoro Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Black ventured into his line of business because of unemployment and the desire to become financially independent.

Black ventured into his business in April 2019. The haircut business is very lucrative because people barb their hair every week. Black affirms that one can make money from his business and he makes his income daily. Before he ventured into his line of business, he made research on a business that will sustain him and give him daily income, so he settled with the Hair barbing business.

He started his business with a substantial amount of two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000.00).

The successes recorded so far in the business are his ability to train over 10 people in the business and also pay his employees. The low point of his business is the epileptic power supply. He has thought about giving up in the face of challenges, especially during this period of fuel subsidy removal and the lack of a steady power supply.

Black does not work alone, he engages people to work with him and his business is not yet registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

Policymakers and investors can assist Black with funds to purchase a bigger generator or Solar lighting generating power 2.5kva so he can have steady light to run his business successfully.
